Amazing Commando Dog Helped Snare Bin Laden
Have any of you noticed that the video coverage/footage of the raid on Osama BL's Pakistan compound last week featured a dog barking in the background? Hearing that barking made me wonder what became of the furry soul involved in that military operation. As of today, we have our answer!

As it turns out, along with the 79 commandos who raided Osama bin Laden's compound was a war dog! Yes, The New York Times reports that along with those Navy Seals was a trusty, heavily-armored, explosive-sniffing pup, who, according to The Sun in the U.K., was strapped to an assault team member and lowered into Bin Laden's hideout from a Black Hawk helicopter. The military has been training dogs, just like the Seals, to be dropped into hostile territory from 25,000 feet in the air.
